Market Capitalisation closed at N13.074 trillion, shedding N62 billion from the previous close of N13.136 trillion.
Aggregate volume of traded stocks was 253.4 million units, valued at N4.1 billion in 3,836 deals.

Market Breadth closed negative as 14 stocks gained while 22 stocks lost.
Percentage Gainers
Sovereign Trust Insurance led other gainers with 9.52% growth to close at N0.23 from the previous close of N0.21.
CCNN and Champions Breweries among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.47% and 8.33%.
Percentage Losers
Forte Oil, NEM Insurance and Prestige Assurance among other price decliners shed their share prices by 9.38%, 8.73% and 8.47% respectively.

Guaranty Trust Bank traded about 50.4 million units of its shares in 233 deals, valued at N1.57 billion.
