The Market Capitalisation declined by 0.22% to close at N22.623 trillion from the previous close of N22.672 trillion, thereby shedding N49 billion.
An aggregate of 264.79 million units of shares were traded in 4,230 deals, valued at N6.08 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative as 14 equities emerged as gainers against 24 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
ABC Transport led other gainers with 10% growth, closing at N0.33 from the previous close of N0.30.
Chams Plc and Cutix Plc among other gainers also grew there share prices by 4.55% and 3.08% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Neimeth and Japaul Gold led other price decliners, sheding 9.09% of their share prices to close at N1.80 and N0.40 respectively.
Unity Bank and Consolidated Hallmark Insurance among other price decliners also shed 8.47% and 8.06% respectively.
Volume Drivers
FBNH traded about 68.61 million units of its shares in 319 deals, valued at N856.18 million.
International Breweries traded about 36.69 million units of its shares in 48 deals, valued at N201.82 million.
GTCO traded about 24.22 million units of its shares in 507 deals, valued at N644.04 million.
