The Nigerian stock market on Monday close bullish as the All Share Index was up by 0.99% to close at 103,149.35 points from the previous close of 102,133.30 points.
The Market Capitalisation grew by 1.59% to close at N62.899 trillion from the previous close of N61.912 trillion, thereby adding N987 billion.
An aggregate of 641 million units of shares were traded in 13,778 deals, valued at N15.5 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 39 equities emerged as gainers against 21 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Prestige Assurance, MECURE and NEIMETH led other gainers with 10.00% growth each to close at N1.10, N12.65 and N2.09 respectively.
LASACO, Living Trust Insurance and MEYER among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.96%, 9.92% and 9.91% respectively.
Percentage Losers
PZ led other price decliners as it shed 10.00% of its share price to close at N26.10 from the previous close of N29.00.
VITAFOAM, NGXGROUP and Ikeja Hotel among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.62%, 9.17% and 7.41% respectively.
Volume Drivers
GTCO traded about 55 million units of its shares in 295 deals, valued at N1,59 billion.
University Insurance traded about 72 million units of its shares in 259 deals, valued at N3 billion.
ACCESSCORP traded about 47 million units of its shares in 754 deals, valued at N1 billion.
