The Nigerian stock market on Tuesday closed bullish as the All Share Index grew by 0.65% to close at 106,574.98 points from the previous close of 105,891.33 points.
The Market Capitalisation grew by 0.64% to close at N66,495 trillion from the previous close of N66.069 trillion, thereby adding N426 billion.
An aggregate of 478.6 million units of shares were traded in 15,561 deals, valued at N11.8 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 40 equities emerged as gainers against 25 that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
ELLAHLAKES led other gainers with 10.00% growth to close at N3.63 from the previous close of N3.30.
Honeywell Flour, ETERNA OI and Academy Press among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.93%, 9.93% and 9.70% respectively.
Percentage Losers
International Energy Insurance led other price decliners as it shed 9.78% of its share price to close at N2.03 from the previous close of N2.25.
EUNISELL and Sovereign Trust Insurance among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.74% and 9.02% respectively.
Volume Drivers
TRANSCORP traded about 35 million units of its shares in 700 deals, valued at N2 billion.
ACCESSCORP traded about 39 million units of its shares in 640 deals, valued at N1 billion.
