The Market Capitalisation grew by 0.35% to close at N89.865 trillion from the previous close of N89.556 trillion, thereby adding N309 billion.

An aggregate of 1 1illion units of shares were traded in 23,281 deals, valued at N24.7 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative as 26 equities emerged as gainers against 32 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers

CHELLARAM led other gainers with 9.77% growth to close at 14.60 from N13.30
AUSTINLAZ, THE INITIATES and Sovereign Trust Insurance among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.67%, 8.08% and 7.37% respectively.
Percentage Losers

Guinea Insurance led other price decliners as it shed 9.70% of its share price to close at N1.49 from the previous close of N1.65.
Cornerstone Insurance, Legend Internet and DEAPCAP among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 8.68%, 7.27% and 7.06% respectively.

ABBEYBUILDING traded about 401 million units of its shares in 47 deals, valued at N2.7 billion.
Fidelity Bank traded about 255 million units of its shares in 509 deals, valued at N5.3 billion.
