Q1’20: Total Nigeria Plc declares loss of N163.2m

Total Nigeria Plc published its Q1’20 financial report on Friday on the website of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. The oil company in the unaudited financial report for the period ended 31 March 2020 declared a loss of N163.22 million.

For the period under review, Total Plc reported a turnover of N70.24 billion, down by 9.27% when compared to N77.42 billion turnover reported in the first quarter of 2019.

Loss for the period was reported as N163.224 million; when compared to the previous loss of N474.089 million recorded in Q1’19, one could say the current loss is milder compared to the previous.

Earnings per share of the oil firm is negative 48kobo (-48 kobo).

With reference to the share price of N102.8, the P.E ratio of Total Nigeria Plc is calculated as -213.83x with earnings yield of -0.47%.
