Market capitalisation declined by 0.05% to close at N13.027 trillion against the previous close of N13.033 trillion, shedding N6 billion.
Aggregate volume closed at 246.5 million units, valued at N2.4 billion in 3,093 deals.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed negative as 12 stocks gained against 17 that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Unilever with 9.94% growth led other gainers to close at N17.70 from the previous close of N16.10.
LAWUNION and CHAMS PLC among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.23% and 8.57% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Sovereign Insurance, UACN and Unity Bank among others shed their share prices by 9.09%, 8.75% and 8.45% respectively.
Volume Drivers
Zenith Bank traded about 21 million units of its shares in 388 deals, valued at N406 million.
