The Nigerian stocks market on Monday closed higher as the All Share Index advanced marginally by 0.03% to settle at 52,231.29 points from the previous close of 52,214.62 points.
The Market Capitalisation was up by 0.03% to close at N28.440 trillion from the previous close of N28.431 trillion, thereby gaining N9 billion.
An aggregate of 626 million units of shares were traded in 6,033 deals, valued at N5.6 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 24 equities appreciated in their share prices against 19 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
OANDO led other gainers with 9.91% growth to close at N6.10 from the previous close of N5.55.
NCR, TRANSCORP and Ikeja Hotel among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.77%, 9.65% and 9.62% respectively
Percentage Losers
CWG led price decliners’ table as it shed 9.66% of its share price to close at N1.87 from the previous close of N2.07.
Nem Insurance, Royal Exchange and CUTIX among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.45%, 7.41% and 4.13% respectively.
Volume Drivers
TRANSCORP traded about 190 million units of its shares in 292 deals, valued at about N530.8 million.
ACCESSCORP traded about 125 million units of its shares in 487 deals, valued at N1.25 billion.
FBNH traded about 79 million units of its shares in 105 deals, valued at about N956 million.
