Aggregate volume of traded stocks closed at N449.24 million units, valued at N1.64 billion in 2,810 deals.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed negative as 5 stocks gained while 20 stocks declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Forte Oil led the gainers’ list with 10% growth, closing at N17.60 from the previous close of N16.00.
Others on the gainers list are Consolidated Hallmark Insurance (8.82%), Sterling Bank (2.78%), Dangote Sugar (1.47%) and Continental Reinsurance (1.29%).
Percentage Losers
Guinness, Glaxosmith, Ikeja Hotel and UAC Properties among other price decliners shed their share prices by 9.88%, 9.38%, 9.32% and 9.17% respectively.
Volume Drivers
Zenith Bank traded about 24.06 million units of its shares in 471 deals, valued at N409 million.
