Nigerian Bourse advances, gained 57bn

The Nigerian Bourse on Monday advanced as The All Share Index soared by 0.10% closing at 98,558.68 points against the previous close of 98,458.68 points.

Investors gained N57 billion as market capitalisation grew to N56.635 trillion from N56.578 trillion of the previous session.

The volume and value of traded stocks stood at 1.86 billion units and N111.6 billion in 10,583 deals.

32 stocks closed positive against 23 that declined, bringing the market breadth to a positive round up

Percentage Gainers

Secure Electric Technology, African Prudential and Abbey Building led the gainers chart with 10.00% growth each to close the day at N0.66, N9.90 and N2.75 respectively.

TRIPPLEG, DEAPCAP and UBA among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.93%, 9.91% and 9.90% respectively.

Percentage Losers

ELLAHLAKES led other price decliners, shedding 9.96% of its share price to close at N4.43 from the previous close of N4.93.

NEIMETH, Academy Press and CAVERTON also shed their share prices by 9.81%, 9.78% and 9.70% respectively.

Volume Drivers

JAPAULGOLD traded about 183 million units of its shares in 181 deals, valued at N463 million.

UBA traded about 45 million units of its shares in 339 deals, valued at about N1.28 billion.

ACCESSCORP traded about 34.9 million units of its shares in 669 deals, valued at N707 million
