NGX launches ‘The Stock Africa is made of’ campaign

Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX Group) Plc has announced that it is launching a campaign theme: ‘The Stock Africa Is Made Of’ which is set to commence with a webinar on Tuesday, 18th May 2021.

In a circular released by the NGX Group on their official website, the Exchange stated thus:

“Part of what needs to change in Africa is the narrative the world has about what they think makes up Africa. ‘The Stock Africa Is Made Of’ celebrates what we know is our narrative. It re-energises Africans and validates our very own success stories; our true positive narratives. From business, through entertainment to medicine, Africa has many amazing people playing on the world stage and winning. Resilience, ambition, and our result-oriented approach are some of the few attributes that make us different. A careful list of influencers championing what Africa is made of have, therefore, been curated to execute the campaign”.

The campaign will amplify NGX Group’s new brand identity and spotlight the growth potential of the African continent across traditional and digital media.

‘The Stock Africa Is Made Of’ comes on the back of the successful demutualisation of the Nigerian Stock Exchange which led to the emergence of NGX Group Plc and its three subsidiaries – Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited, NGX Regulation (NGX RegCo) Limited, and NGX Real Estate (NGX RelCo) Limited.
