Nestle Nigeria proposes N25 Interim Dividend to Shareholders, Grew Profit after Tax By 11.24%

The shareholders of Nestle Nigeria Plc will soon smile to the bank as the firm is set to pay an interim dividend of N25 per 50 kobo ordinary share to shareholders whose name appear in the Register of Members at the close of business on 22nd, November 2019.

The third quarter financial report of Nestle Nigeria for the period ended, September 30, 2019 revealed that firm grew its turnover by 4.04% to settle at N211.35 billion from N203.13 recorded in the third quarter of 2018.

Profit after tax grew by 11.24%, closing at N36.8 billion from the previous close of N33.1 billion in 2018.

Earnings per share grew to N46.48 from the previous earnings per share of N41.78 in the third quarter of 2018.

With reference to the share price of N1220, the P. E ratio of Nestle Nigeria stands at 26.25x with earnings yield of 3.81%.
