Nestle declares N45 dividend to shareholders, grew turnover by 7%

The shareholders of Nestle Nigeria will soon smile to the bank as the premium food and beverage brand in Nigeria declared N45 dividend payout for its esteemed shareholders.

In the audited financial report released on Monday for the period ended, 31 December, 2019, Nestle Nigeria posted a turnover of N284 billion, up by 7% compared to a turnover of N266 billion reported in 2018.

Profit before tax grew by 19% to settle at N71.1 billion away from N59.75 billion recorded in 2018.

The profit after tax of the firm stands at N45.68 billion, up by 6% from the previous profit after tax of N43 billion in 2018.

The earnings per share (EPS) of Nestle Nigeria grew by 6% to settle at N57.63 from the EPS of N54.26.

With reference to the share price of N1,130, The PE ratio of Nestle Nigeria stands at 19.61x with earnings yield of 5.1%.

Nestle Nigeria declared a final dividend of N45, bringing dividend yield of the firm to 3.98%.
