NEM Insurance Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange and the investing public of the appointment of Mr Adeyemi Mayadenu as the Executive Director (Technical) of the Company with effect from 19th June 2024 following approval from the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
Mr. Mayadenu is a versatile Insurance practitioner with vast experience in technical, business development, product development with great marketing acumen of insurance business. He has attended several courses (home and abroad) in Insurance, Marketing, Strategy, Management and Leadership including certification in Leadership Management from Corporate Coach Group, Gloucester in United Kingdom.
In 2016, he was elevated to the position of Deputy General Manager and was transferred to the Head Office as Head of Strategy and Business Development, and later as the Head, Strategy and Systems Department where he supervised the company’s strategy, business development and ICT Units. In addition to these roles, Mr. Mayadenu following NAICOM’s approval, was also appointed by the Company as the Chief Compliance Officer.
Mr. Mayadenu is a member of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (CIN), an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN) and Chairman, Risk, Audit and Compliance Committee of Nigerian Insurers Association, between 2020 and 2024.
