MTN Nigeria Communication Plc has proposed a final dividend of N10 to its shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2022. This is in addition to the interim dividend of N5.60.
The telecom giant reported a turnover of N2.01 trillion for the N12 month period, up by 21.64% from N1.65 trillion reported the previous year.
Profit after tax grew year on year by 20.16% to N358.88 billion from N298.65 billion reported the previous year.
Earnings per share of MTN stands at N17.63.
At the share price of N225, the P/E ratio of MTN stands at 12.76x with earnings yield of 7.84%.
The qualification date for the proposed dividend is 27th of March 2023.
The Register of Shareholders will be closed from March 28, 2022. Payment date is on April 20, 2023.
