May and Baker Nigeria Plc published its quarter 2 report for the period ended 30th June, 2020 on the website of the Nigerian Exchange Group. The report shows a boost in revenue both in top line and bottom line figures of the Manufacturer and Distributor of Pharmaceutical and Consumer goods.
The company reported N5.525 billion, up by 35.67% when compared with N4.072 billion reported in the second quarter of 2020.
Profit after tax rose to N555.3 million from N438.9 million reported in Q2’20, implying a growth of 26.52%.
The earnings per share (EPS) of the firm appreciated to 32 kobo from 25 kobo reported in the same period last year, with reference to the share price of N4.60, the P.E ratio of May & Baker as calculated stands at 14.29x with earnings yield of 7.00%.
