The Nigerian equity market on Wednesday closed higher as the All Share Index appreciated by 0.05% to settle at 98,944.42 points from the previous close of 98,892.58 points.
The Market Capitalisation was up by 0.05% to close at N59.955 trillion from the previous close of N59.924 trillion, thereby gaining N17 billion.

An aggregate of 283.7 million units of shares were traded in 7,966 deals, valued at N8.29 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 31 equities appreciated in their share prices against 16 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers

OANDO, UNISELL and UNILEVER led other gainers with 10.00% growth each to close at N89.65, N1.19 and N20.90 respectively.
MCNICHOLS and Regency Alliance among other gainers also grew their share prices 9.79% and 9.62% respectively.
Percentage Losers

ARADEL led price decliners’ table as it shed 9.99% of its share price to close at N562.90 from the previous close of N625.40.
Northern Nigerian Flourmills, Consolidated Hallmark Holdings and UPDC among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.93%, 6.12% and 5.81% respectively.
Volume Drivers

UBA traded about 66 million units of its shares in 860 deals, valued at about N1.79 billion.
Nigerian Breweries traded about 37 million units of its shares in 106 deals, valued at N1 billion.
ACCESSCORP traded about 18 million units of its shares in 377 deals, valued at N351.8 million.
