The Market Capitalisation closed at N25.472 trillion, down by 0.01% from the previous close of N25.475 trillion, thereby shedding N3 billion.
An aggregate of 291.88 million units of shares were traded in 4,792 deals, valued at N2.855 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative as 19 equities emerged as gainers against 18 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Cornerstone Insurance led other gainers as it grew its share price by 9.37% to close at N0.70 from the previous close of N0.64.
WAPIC, FTN Cocoa and Honeywell Flour among other gainers also grew their share prices by 8.70%, 8.33% and 5.14% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Niger Insurance led other price decliners as it shed 8.70% of its share price to close at N0.21 from the previous close of N0.23.
AIICO and Linkage Assurance among other prices decliners also shed their share prices by 5.71% and 5.17% respectively.
Volume Drivers
Access Bank traded about 23 million units of its shares in 221 deals, valued at N236 million.
UBA traded about 20 million units of its shares in 305 deals, valued at N169 million.
GTCO traded about 15 million units of its shares in 402 deals, valued at N399 million.
