The Nigerian equities market on Monday grew the market capitalization by 3.43% to closed at N55.89 trillion as Transcorp Power Plc a subsidiary of Transcorp group get listed on the main board of the NGX.
The All Share Index grew further by 0.10% to close at 98,847.89 points from the previous close of 98,798.79 points on Friday.
Aggregate volume of traded stocks closed at 429.6 million units, valued at N19.9 billion in 10,749 deals.

The market Breadth closed balanced as 25 stocks gained while 25 stocks declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
TRANSCORP led the gainers chart with 9.94% growth to close at N15.70 from the previous close of N14.28.
PZ, NEIMEITH and JULI among other gainers grew their share prices by 9.93%, 9.88% and 9.87% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Unity Bank, VITAFOAM and Dangote Sugar led other price decliners, shedding 10% each of their share prices.
NASCON, MTN Nigeria and Mutual Benefits among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 8.55%, 7.82% and 7.69% respectively.
Volume Drivers
TRANSCORP traded about 203 million units of its shares in only 717 deals, valued at about N3.9 billion.
TRANSCORP POWER traded about 40 million units of its shares in 90 deal, valued at about N10.56 billion.
UBA about 19.6 million units of its shares in only 500 deals, valued at about N448 million.
