LASACO Assurance Plc has published its Second Quarter report for the period ended 30 June 2021 on the website of the Nigerian Exchange Group.
Gross Premium written of N9.677bn was reported, up by 39.30% from N6.947 billion reported the previous year.
Profit after tax for the period under review was N294 million, down by 53.46% from N632 million reported in Q2 2020.
Earnings per share of the underwriting firm for the period under review dropped to 16 kobo from the EPS of 34 kobo.
At the share price of N1.6, the P.E ratio of LASACO Assurance stands at 10x with earnings yield of 10%.
