Jaiz Bank Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange and the investing public of the appointment of Haruna Musa as the substantive Managing Director/CEO of the bank. CBN has approved the appointment. He succeeds Ahmed A. Hassan who will proceed on retirement by the end of this year.
Haruna Musa possesses over 28 years cognate banking experience. Out of this 28 years, 22 years were spent in GT Bank, one of the leading banks in Nigeria. He was an Executive Director for 8 years before exiting in October 2023 after completion of 2 terms with the bank. His experience cut across retail banking, SME Banking, Corporate Banking, Business Banking and Public Sector. He holds an MBA, MSc in Finance and Management from Cranfield University, United Kingdom.
