The Nigerian equity market on Friday closed on a positive note as The All Share Index moved up by 0.42% to close at 148,977.64 points from the previous close of 148,355.04 points.
Investors gained N396 billion as the Market Capitalisation grew by 0.42% to close at N94.561 trillion from the previous close of N94.165 trillion.

An aggregate of 481 million units of shares were traded in 22,854 deals, valued at N16.8 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 39 equities appreciated in their share prices against 23 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers

EUNISELL led other gainers with 10.00% growth, closing at N48.40 from the previous close of N44.00.
UPDC, Sovereign Trust Insurance, and Universal Insurance among other gainers also grew their share prices by over 9.00% each.
Percentage Losers

Living Trust Insurance led other price decliners as it shed 10.00% of its share price to close at N4.50 from the previous close of N5.00.
International Energy Insurance and Consolidated Hallmark Holdings among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 8.39% and 6.29% respectively.
Volume Drivers

UBA traded about 59 million units of its shares in 1,054 deals, valued at N2.5 billion.
ACCESSCORP traded about 50 million units of its shares in 1,132 deals valued at N1.30 billion.
Fidelity Bank traded about 47 million units of its shares in 531 deals, valued at N944 million.
