The Nigerian stock market on Friday closed on a positive note as the All Share Index appreciated by 0.75% to close at 41,438.15 points from the previous close of 41,129.98 points. This is occasioned by 3.05% gain in the share price of BUA Cement.
The Market Capitalisation grew by 0.90%, closing at N21.625 trillion from the previous close of N21.432 trillion, thereby gaining N193 billion.
An aggregate of 728.96 million units of shares were traded in 4,852 deals, valued at N8.53 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 30 equities emerged as gainers against 8 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
SCOA led other gainers with 9.20% growth to close at N0.95 from the previous close of N0.87.
Custodian, International Breweries and FBNH among other gainers also grew their share prices by 8.96%, 8.70% and 8.09% respectively
Percentage Losers
Chams Plc led other price decliners as it sheds 8.33% of its share price to close at N0.22 from the previous close of N0.24.
University Press and Lafarge Africa among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 6.25% and 4.74% respectively.

FBNH traded about 476.55 million units of its shares in 961 deals, valued at N5.93 billion.
Universal Insurance traded about 39.69 million units of its shares in 26 deals, valued at N8.33 million.
GTCO traded about 33.17 million units of its shares in 273 deals, valued at N972.38 million.
