Transactions on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Friday closed on a positive note as the All Share Index grew further by 1.28% to settle at 26,319.34 points from the previous close of 25,987.14 points.
Investors gain N174 billion as market capitalisation appreciated by 1.28% to close at N13.755 trillion from the previous close of N13.581 trillion.
An aggregate of 335.75 million units of shares were traded in 4,231 deals, valued at N4.28 billion.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed positive as 19 stocks gained while 16 stocks declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Nigerian Breweries led other percentage gainers with 9.82% growth, closing at N52.55 from the previous close of N47.85.
Cornerstone Insurance, Ardova Plc and Presco Plc among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.23%, 7.77% and 7.07% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Northern Nigerian Flour Mills (NNFM) led other price decliners as it sheds 10% of its share price to close at N4.05 from the previous close of N4.50.
Oando, Union Bank and Royal Exchange among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.78%, 7.41%, 6.90% respectively.

- Sterling Bank Plc traded about 79.58 million units of its shares in 177 deals, valued at N92.31 million.
- Zenith Bank Plc traded about 50.75 million units of its shares in 532 deals, valued at N878.62 million.
- FBN Holdings traded about 34.22 million units of its shares in 208 deals, valued at N176.2 million.
