The Nigerian equity market on Wednesday switched to a bullish mode, recovering from the loss of 0.30% recorded in the previous session as MTN Nigeria, PRESCO , Dangote Cement and 34 other stocks closed the day higher.
The All Share Index soared by 1.63% to close at 116,786.87 points from the previous close of 114,910.16 points.
Investors gained N1.184 trillion as the Market Capitalisation grew by 1.63% to close at N73.681 trillion from the previous close of N72.497 trillion.

An aggregate of 640 million units of shares were traded in 19,727 deals, valued at N26 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 37 equities appreciated in their share prices against 30 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers

Nem Insurance led other gainers with 10.00% growth, closing at N16.50 from the previous close of N15.00.
BETAGLASS, SEPLAT, THOMASWYAT and Linkage Assurance among other gainers also grew their share prices by over 9.00% each.
Percentage Losers

ETERNA OIL led other price decliners as it shed 10.10% of its share price to close at 38.70 from the previous close of 43.00.
Secure Electronic Technology, Legend Internet and FTN COCOA among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.68%, 9.66% and 6.07% respectively.
Volume Drivers

Zenith Bank traded about 150 million units of its shares in 1,504 deals, valued at N7.2 billion.
ACCESSCORP traded about 49 million units of its shares in 1,248 deals valued at N1 billion.
UBA traded about 43 million units of its shares in 1,114 deals, valued at N1.45 billion.
