Investors gain N11bn as NSEASI inches up by 0.09%

The Nigerian equities market on Monday closed on a positive note as the All Share Index rose by 0.09%, closing at 26,557.44 points from the previous close of 26,553.78 points last week Friday.

Market Capitalisation closed at N12.928 trillion, gaining N11 billion from the previous close of N12.917 trillion.

Aggregate volume of traded stocks closed at 129.08 million units, valued at N2.74 billion in 2,595 deals.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 11 stocks gained while 8 stocks declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

Investors gain 11bn as NSEASI inches up by 0.09%

Courteville Business Solution Plc led the gainers list with 10% growth, closing at N0.22 from the previous close of N0.20

Fidson Healthcare, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance and Axa Mansard among others also grew the share prices by 9.72%, 7.14% and 6.25% respectively.

Percentage Losers

Investors gain 11bn as NSEASI inches up by 0.09%

Global Spectrum Energy Services and UACN among others shed their share prices by 9.62% and 6.99% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Guaranty Trust Bank traded about 14.47 million units of its shares in 156 deals, valued at N387.3 million.
