SEPLAT Petroleum Development Company PLC, a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company reported a gross earning of N228 billion which is about 65% higher than N138 billion reported in same period 2017.
The company’s profit after tax (PAT) for the period under review stood at N44.8 billion which is 44.68% below the N81.1 billion reported last same period of 2017.
The Oil and gas company’s shareholders’ earnings per share of N76.25 kobo for the period under review when compared to N137.84kobo reported for the comparative period of 2017, it represents 44.68% drop for the corresponding period.
The current period’s PE Ratio is at 7.83X and the earnings yield at 12.77% with a reference stock price of N596.90 at the date of computation.
Shareholders whose names appear in the Company’s Register of Members as at the close of business on the 20th of March 2019 would be paid the dividend US0.05 or N18.05 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each.
The Register of Shareholders will be closed on 21st of March, 2019. The Qualification date is on 20th of March 2019.
