Forte Oil led 22 other gainers, despite market decline of 0.38%

The Nigerian Bourse on Wednesday closed in red as the All Share Index declined by 0.38% to close at 30,704.98 points against the previous close of 30,822.33 points on Tuesday.

Market capitalisation declined by 0.35% closing at N11.216 trillion against the previous close of  N11.255 trillion on Tuesday.

Volume and value of traded stocks declined by 36.43% and 19.49%, closing at 200.998 million units and N4.098 billion

Market Breadth

23 stocks closed positive while 18 stocks lost, bringing the market breadth to a positive round off.

Percentage Gainers

Forte Oil with 9.85% growth led other percentage gainers to close at N26.20 from the previous close of N23.85

Diamond Bank, Learn Africa and Neimeth grew 9.65%, 9.52% and 9.09% of their share prices among other stocks on the gainers chart.

 Percentage Losers

Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc tops the losers ‘chart, shedding 7.55% of its share price.

Seplat and Jaiz Bank also shed 6.53% and 6.12% of their share prices among others on the losers’ chart.

Volume Drivers

Zenith Bank traded  about 51.9 million units of its shares in 357deals, valued at about N1.18 billion.
