Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Ravindra Singh Singhvi as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Company. He assumed duty on the 13th of August 2018.
This was in a statement signed by the Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser, Mrs Chioma Madubuko, made available on the website of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Mr. Ravindra Singh Singhvi has over 37 years of proven experience in leadership positions in Manufacturing and Processes in Sugar, Petrochemicals, Cement and Textile products industries India.
Mr Singhvi is a Chartered Accountant with background in Company Secretarial duties and General Management. He possesses Bachelor’s Degree in B.Com (Hons) and Law (I) from the University of Jodhpur, India.
Prir to joining Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, Mr Singhvi was the Managing Director and CEO of NSL Sugar Limited, Hyderabad, India. He was also president to Indo Rama Group, Birla Group and Executive Director at S. Kumar Nationwide Limited amongst others.
Mr Singhvi has experience in turning around some of the companies he has managed in the Sugar, Petrochemical, textile industries etc. He has helped companies in improving performance operationally and financially.
Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc is the major supplier of refined sugar to consumers and industrial markets in Nigeria.
