Cornerstone Insurance has announced temporary withdrawal from trading activities of their stocks from the Nigerian Stock Exchange. This is in respect of the Unaudited Financial Statements of the Company for the Fourth Quarter ended 31st December, 2017. The closed period commenced on the 9th of January, 2018 and will run until 24hours after the above Financial Statements are published.
The statement signed by the Company Secretary of Cornerstone Insurance Plc, PAC Solicitors read thus:
“In line with the listing requirement of the Nigerian Stock Exchange for quoted Companies, Cornerstone Insurance Plc hereby give Notice of the commencement of closed period for trading in the Company’s shares from 9th January, 2018, in respect of the Unaudited Financial Statements of Cornerstone Insurance Plc for the Fourth Quarter ended 31st December, 2017”.
“Consequently, all Insiders and their connected persons are prohibited from dealing in the shares of the Company from 9th of January, 2018. The closed period will run until 24hours after the above Financial Statements are published”
