The Nigerian stock market on Thursday closed on a positive note as the NGX All Share Index grew by 0.25% to close at 98,760.59 points from the previous close of 98,509.68 points.
Investors gain N152 billion as the market Capitalization grew by 0.25%, closing at N59.867 trillion from the previous close of N59.715 trillion.
Year to date, the market has returned 32.08%
An aggregate of 489.65 million units of shares were traded in 8,304 deals, valued at N7.057 billion.
MARKET BREADTH
The Market Breadth closed positive as 30 stocks gained while 21 stocks declined in their share prices.
TOP 5 GAINERS
Conoil and Tantalizer led 28 other gainers with 10% growth, closing at N387.2 and N1.76 respectively.
Custodian Investment, Africa Prudential Plc and Golden Guinea Breweries grew their share prices by 9.92%, 9.79% and 9.75% respectively.
TOP 5 LOSERS
DAAR Communications led other price decliners, shedding 8.47% of its share price to close at N0.54 from the previous close of N0.59.
Caverton, OMATEK, ABC Transport and Consolidated Hallmark Holdings also shed their share prices by 8.16%, 7.46%, 7.41% and 7.11% respectively.
