Trading on the floor of the Nigerian stock market closed bullish again as most of the high cap stocks closed the week higher, thereby gaining N847 billion week to date.
The All Share Index and Market capitalization grew by 2.95% to settle at 54,213.09 points and N29.528 trillion respectively.
An aggregate of 3.8 billion units of shares were traded in 20,333 deals, valued at N27.5 billion.
The market breadth closed positive as 55 stocks gained against 27 stocks that declined in their share prices.
TOP 10 GAINERS
International Energy Insurance led other gainers in the course of last week with 57.14% growth, closing at N0.99 from the previous close of N0.63.
Northern Nigeria Flour Mills, GEREGU, MRS and JOHNHOLT grew their share prices by 44.44%, 36.88%, 20.94%and 20.91% respectively.
Other top 10 gainers include: SEPLAT 20.45%, FCMB 18.07%, Sovereign Trust Insurance 15.38%, NAHCO 14.10% and Fidelity Bank 11.11% respectively.
TOP 10 LOSERS
CHAMS PLC led other price decliners, shedding 16.67% of its share price to close at N0.25 from the previous close of N0.30.
Ikeja Hotel, GUINNESS, NCR and Academy Press shed their share prices by 10.00%, 10.00%, 10.00% and 9.85% respectively.
Other price decliners include: Sunu Assurance (8.11%), ARDOVA (7.59%), ETERNA (6.67%), RTBRISCOE (6.67%) and Linkage Assurance (6.25%) respectively.
