The board of Africa Prudential Plc has appointed Mrs Christabel Onyejekwe as Chairman, following the retirement of Mrs Eniola Fadayomi, after 12 years of meritorious service.
The announcement was made during the company’s 12th Annual General Meeting.
Christabel Onyejekwe is an accomplished business leader with over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector.
She previously served as Executive Director, Business Development, at the Nigerian Inter-Bank Settlement Systems Pic (NIBSS), where she led several strategic initiatives that deepened financial infrastructure in Nigeria.
Currently, she serves on several corporate boards and brings expertise in governance, strategy, and risk management to this role.
Expressing her gratitude to the board for the opportunity, Onyejekwe stated thus:
