Access Bank Plc extends CSR to cancer patients, restates commitment to women empowerment

Access Bank Plc recently provided financial assistance to two breast cancer patients, empowering them in their ongoing battle against the disease.

In an event held by the bank through its Access Women Network in Lagos on Monday, two beneficiaries received N3.8 million and N3.03 million respectively to support their breast cancer treatment.

This initiative follows the bank’s free breast cancer screening and awareness campaign in November 2024, where over 300 women benefitted from the programme.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Director of Corporate and Investment Banking, Iyabo Soji-Okusanya, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves.

“We have tasked ourselves with the responsibility to continue to impact the communities and the markets where we operate. It is not just about making profits or having clients; it is about being known as a leader in the place of impact.”
