The Nigerian stock market on Monday stayed afloat on the gains in BETAGLASS, PRESCCO and other stocks that closed the day higher.
The All Share Index grew by 0.37%, closing at 118,579.65 points from the previous close of 118,138.22 points on Friday.
Market capitalisation closed at N74.812 trillion, advancing by 0.37% from the previous close of N74.534 trillion, adding N278 billion.

An aggregate of 653.7 million units of shares were traded in 22,206 deals, valued at N21 billion.

Percentage Gainers

BETAGLASS, FTN COCOA, Champion Breweries, NEIMETH and PRESCO led other gainers growing by 10.00% each to close at N303.60, N3.08, N9.02, N4.07 and N1,210 respectively.
Legend Internet, University Press and ELLALAKES among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.97%, 9.97% and 9.94% respectively.
Percentage Losers

Julius Berger, CHAMS and Secure Electronic Technology shed 7.48%, 5.09% and 5.00% of their stock prices respectively.
Volume Drivers

Fidelity Bank traded about 142 million units of its shares in 826 deals, valued at N2.66 billion.
Zenith Bank traded about 46 million units of its shares in 1,217 deals valued at N2.3 billion.
Nigerian Breweries traded about 38 million units of its shares in 203 deals, valued at N2.2 billion.
