The Nigerian Stock Exchange on Tuesday closed higher as The All Share Index was up by 0.23% to close at 97,972.33 points from the previous close of 97,747.27 points.
Investors gained N136 billion as the Market Capitalisation grew by 0.23% to close at N59.367 trillion from the previous close of N59.231 trillion.
At the close of trade on Tuesday, an aggregate of 333.9 million units of shares were traded in 9,187 deals, valued at N6.4 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 35 equities emerged as gainers against 24 that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
WAPCO and UNILEVER led other gainers with 10.00% growth each, to close at N50.60 and N26.95 from the previous close of N46.00 and N24.50.
SCOA, EUNISELL, and JOHNHOLT above other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.94%, 9.94% and 9.89% respectively.
Percentage Losers
PZ led other price decliners as it shed 9.82% of its share price to close at N22.50 from the previous close of N24.95
THE INITIATES and BERGER PAINTS among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 8.70% and 7.71% respectively.
Volume Drivers
ACCESSCORP traded about 38 million units of its share in 516 deals, valued at about N910 million.
JAPAULGOLD traded 26 million units of its shares in 265 deals, valued at about N60.75 million.
