The Board of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc has announced the retirement of Mrs. Florence I. Onyenekwe, Ag. Executive Director of Finance of the Company, effective 31st October 2024. She is currently on her terminal leave.
Mrs. Onyenekwe joined the Company in 2000 as Internal Audit & Systems Manager and rose to occupy the positions of Financial Controller & Acting Company Secretary in 2001, Financial Controller & Company Secretary in 2008, General Manager Finance & Company Secretary in 2013 and Company Secretary & Chief Compliance Officer in 2019 before assuming the role of Ag. Executive Director, Finance in June 2023.
The Board thanks her for her immense contributions to the growth of the Company and wishes her success in future endeavours.
Replacing Mrs. Onyenekwe is Mrs. Nonye E. Offorjamah. Mrs. Offorjamah obtained her HND in Accounting from Ondo State Polytechnic Owo, now Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Associate of the Chartered Taxation Institute.
Mrs. Offorjamah began her professional career as an NYSC Tax Trainee in KPMG Nigeria in 2001, before joining Microdigits in 2002. She went on to join May & Baker Nigeria Plc. in 2006, where she occupied the roles of Input Control Officer, Bank Reconciliation Officer, Payable Manager and Group Tax Manager & Subsidiary Accounts Manager before leaving the organization to join Simba Group in April 2024 as Group Accounts Manager.
She joined Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc. in September 2024 as Head of Finance. She is a seasoned professional who comes with a wealth of relevant experience.
