Nigerian Enamelware Plc to halt operations for 9 months as it relocates factory

Nigerian Enamelware Plc has notified the investing public and the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) of the relocation of its factory from 18, Wempco Rood, Ogba, Lagos State to Kilometer 8, Lagos/lbadan Express Woy, Magboro, Opic Industrial Estate, lsheri/lbafo, Ogun State.

Consequently, the Company has envisaged thot this period of relocation would result to on entire stoppage of its business operations and adverse impact of financial loss to the company taking into account that the whole process of relocation would take several months.

Accordingly, the first phase of the factory relocation will involve decoupling of all machinery. The second phase will entail movement of these machines and equipment to the new factory located in Ogun State which would require vehicles that would haul and convey these machinery while the last phase is the installation of all the machinery. Cumulatively, these processes would span over a period of nine months before the recommencement of business operations.
