Stock market closes bullish, up by 0.19%

The Nigerian stock market on Monday closed bullish as the All Share Index grew by 0.19% to close at 97,706.70 points from the previous close of 97,520.54 points.

The Market Capitalisation grew by 0.19% to close at N56.146 trillion from the previous close of N56.039 trillion, thereby adding N329 billion.

An aggregate of 1.3 billion units of shares were traded in 10,424 deals, valued at N5.96 billion.

The Market Breadth closed negative as 28 equities emerged as gainers against 24 that declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

Fidelity Bank led other gainers with 10.00% growth to close at N14.30 from the previous close of N13.00.

ABC Transport, Livestock Feeds and Regency Alliance among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.76%, 9.76% and 8.70% respectively.

Percentage Losers

SCOA led other price decliners as it shed 10.00% of its share price to close at N1.71 from the previous close of N1.90.

Berger Paints and TRIPPLEG among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.95% and 9.64% respectively.

Volume Drivers

UBA traded about 38 million units of its shares in 926 deals, valued at N1 billion.

ACCESSCORP traded about 23 million units of its shares in 581 deals, valued at N459.7 million.

GTCO traded about 16 million units of its shares in 576 deals, valued at N776 million
