The Nigerian stock market on Monday extended the bullish trend as the All Share Index grew by 1.61% to close at 61,949.24 points from the previous close of 60,968.27 points.
The Market Capitalisation appreciated by 1.61% to close at N33.732 trillion from the previous close of N33.198 trillion, thereby adding N534 billion
An aggregate of 1.2 billion units of shares were traded in 12,128 deals, valued at N14 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 67 equities emerged as gainers against 14 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
JAPAULGOLD, Linkage Assurance, MEYER, ETERNA OIL, Fidelity Bank and University Press led other gainers with 10.00% growth each.
TRANSCORP, ACCESSCORP and ETRANSACT among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.97%, 9.94% and 9.92% respectively.
Percentage Losers
TRIPPLEG led other price decliners as it shed 9.87% of its share price to close at N3.38 from the previous close of N3.75.
Cornerstone Insurance and Secured Electronic Technology among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.09% and 9.09% respectively.
Volume Drivers
FCMB traded about 173.8 million units of its shares in 490 deals, valued at N930 million.
UBA traded about 132.5 million units of its shares in 912 deals, valued at N2 billion.
ACCESSCORP traded about 51 million units of its shares in 631 deals, valued at N2.38 billion.
