NSEASI Down by 0.16% Further, Tuesday

Transactions on the floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange declined further as the All Share Index dipped by 0.16% to close at 27,047.58 points against the previous close of 27,089.84 points of the last trading session.

Market Capitalisation dropped by 0.16% to close at N13.158 trillion against the previous close of N13.179 trillion, shedding N21 billion.

Aggregate volume and value of traded stocks settled at 364 million units and N4.8 billion in 4,629 deals.

Market Breadth

Market Breadth closed positive as 18 stocks gained while 12 stocks lost.

Percentage Gainers

UAC Property again led other gainers with 9.26% growth to close at N1.18 from the previous close of N1.08

FBHN, Dangote Flour and WAPIC also grew their share prices ahead of other stocks on the gainers chart.

Percentage Losers

THOMAS WYATT tops the price decliners’ list, shedding 9.52% of its share price. This is followed by Continental Reinsurance, CCNN and UPL, all shedding 7.36%, 6.61% and 6.25% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Guaranty traded about 78 million units of its shares in 270 deals, valued at about N2 billion
