Standard Alliance expresses its inability to beat deadlines

The Management of Standard Alliance Insurance Plc has expressed its inability to file audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31/12/2018 within the required due date as approved by the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

It was released through NSE’s Corporate Disclosure on Monday 18th March, 2019 as signed by the company secretary as follows:

PRESS RELEASE ON LATE SUBMISSION OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNT FOR PERIOD ENDED 31ST MARCH, 2019

The Management of Standard Alliance Insurance Plc (The Company) would like to inform its Shareholders, Stakeholders and the investing public that the Company will be unable to file the Audited Financial Statements for year ended 31 December 2018 (2018 AFS) within the required due date as approved by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (‘’The Exchange”)

Consequently the Company will also not be able to file its Q1 Unaudited Financial Statements for period ended 31st March, 2019 (2019 Q1 UFS) by the due date of 30 April, 2019, as a result of the delay in filing the 2018 AFS.
