Dangote Cement released its report for the year ended December 31, 2018 on Wednesday 27th, February 2018. The group grew turnover by 11.87% to close at N901.213 billion from the previous close of N805.582 billion in 2017.
Profit after Tax (PAT) closed soared by 91.10% closing at N390.325 billion against the previous PAT OF N204.248 billion in 2017
For the period under review, earnings per share (EPS) is currently N22.83 compared to the previous EPS N11.65 in 2017
With reference to the share price of N192.5 the PE ratio of Dangote Cement stands at 8.43x with earnings yield of 11.86%.
A Dividend of N16 per ordinary share of 50k each is proposed to shareholders. This is subject to appropriate withholding tax and shareholders’ approval to be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on June 3, 2019.
The Register of Members will be closed from June 4, 2019 to June 10, 2019 (both date inclusive)
