Oludele Sunday Kolawole Olumide

It will take a conscious effort to think about appropriate technology to build yourself a home before age 35 because it is not a general rule of thumb for people to migrate to home ownership at a specific age. Those who do are doing so when they feel so.

You will have to discipline yourself seriously because your choice may not go well with the frivolous way of life in these perverse days. Give a deep thought to this new concept and take appropriate actions to follow it up to fruition. If all it takes to advance in life is discipline, then, go for it and smile later, it is your forth strategic approach to landlordship. (The preceding strategies are in our last edition, you may want to get a copy.)

Safety of home ownership advice that you run with is the fifth strategic approach. Choose your advisor carefully. Follow your mind, but be creative with it. Beware of trading your precious life to naysayers and discouraging folks around you. If you can’t find optimistic people to confide on, if they all base their advices on your financial weakness, you have me to guide you through because your insufficient income is not strong enough as a factor to discredit you from becoming a landlord early in life. If all the people around you are saying negative, I refute their claims, not tomfoolery though. Come let us reason together against their doltishness.

Unfortunately, there are more pessimists than optimists. Many of them have accepted failure and would only advice others to join them to fail. Majority of those who are trapped in the mire and slush of life only wish to give their expert advice to cause an entanglement in form of encouragement to their unsuspecting students. Many smart and brave candidates of this category of advisers have been dragged along to unmerited failures. I need to sound this warning clearly, it is not all the people who advice you really wish that you outdo their records. Beware of who your adviser is, it is as simple as that.

If you truly desire freedom from paying unending rent, think deeply, ponder on my line of thought, think appropriately and be proactive in taking actions. In addition, I encourage you to add to your clandestine wish list, a land and an investment portfolio that can secure you a residual income that can ultimately support your housing aspiration. As I emphasised in the precious editions, we shall be engaging common sense as a tool to resolving the riddles, myths, misconceptions, fable, old wive’s tales and beliefs that had beclouded our youths in this modern times. This clampdown on vague beliefs is your strategic approach number six.

Disregard fables, listen to the voice of the angel on homeownership and step forward among friends and relations. Get out of the unfortunate queue. Take meaningful action now.

Too Much Confusing Ambience

In this generation, you see majority of youths being complacent with personal home ownership. In this generation, youths are massively distracted. It is killing to note the gamut of irrelevances that are clogging the youths’ pathway to home ownership. Our youth are undoubtedly confused and disorientated by noise, yet we hope for development, far be it until something is done to refertilise the system with positive elements of progress.

If you follow the trend in today’s real estate market you might get lost in the thick noise especially the media analysis on the emerging markets and best investment locations. You may want to simply conclude that home ownership is reserved for some well to do individuals. If you already have that notion, I will recommend Make Me A Landlord concept to you for a practical difference. You can’t religiously deploy our solution for personal home ownership in vain.

Landlords do not possess two heads, they are people like you. The difference might be the actions they took which you are either afraid to take or you are completely ignorant of. Strategic approach number seven: Ignore the noise; focus on reality to the size of your pocket.
