Vitafoam proposes 70kobo dividend to shareholders, boosts profit by 72%

Vitafoam Nigeria Plc on Monday published its full year financial report for the period ended 30, September, 2020.

The group reported a turnover of N23.44 billion, up by 5% from N22.28 billion reported the previous year.

Profit before tax grew by 62% to N5.647 billion from N3.496 billion reported in 2019.

For the period under review, Vitafoam reported a profit after tax of N4.108 billion, up by 72% from N2.387 billion reported the previous year.

Earnings per share increased to N3.28 from N1.91 the previous year, which translates to 72% growth.

With reference to the share price of N8.55, the P.E ratio of Vitafoam stands at 2.61x with earnings yield of 38.36%.

A final dividend of 70 kobo is proposed by Vitafoam to its esteemed shareholders. Qualification date is on the 12th of February 2021.

Closure of Register is 15th to 19th of February 2021. Payment date is on the 5th of March 2021.
