NSEASI Down again by 0.11%, Thursday

Trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange today declined further as the All Share Index dipped by 0.11% to close at 27,052.93 points against the previous close of 27,083.11 points of the last trading session.

Market Capitalisation dropped by 0.11% to close at N13.183 trillion against the previous close of N13.198 trillion, shedding N15 billion.

Aggregate volume and value of traded stocks settled at 233.1 million units and N3.6 billion in 4,331 deals.

Market Breadth

Market Breadth closed negative as 9 stocks gained while 23 stocks lost.

Percentage Gainers

CCNN led other gainers with 9.43% growth to close at N14.50 from the previous close of N13.25

Other gainers include: Unity Bank, Livestock Feeds and Jaiz Bank, all gaining above 5.00% of their share prices ahead of other stocks in the green table.

Percentage Losers

Ecobank and Unilever top the price decliners’ list, both shedding 10.00% of their share prices. Trailing on the red table are Red Star Express, STANBIC and Custodian Investment, shedding 9.98%, 9.97% and 9.68% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Guaranty traded about 42 million units of its shares in 316 deals, valued at about N1 billion.
