The management of Law Union and Rock Insurance has notified the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the investing public that the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has approved the appointment of Mr Kunle Aluko as a Non- Executive Director of the Company.
Mr Kunle Aluko studied Banking with IFS University College now London Institute of Banking & Finance. He is also an alumnus of Manchester Business School where he completed the Commercial Banking Course.
He is an astute banker with over twenty years of active banking career. His career with Barclays Bank, which later became Union Bank, progressed through the ranks till his retirement from Union Group as an Assistant General Manager, Corporate Banking in 1990. He served as the Managing Director of Equitorial Trust Bank (now acquired by Sterling Bank Plc) and was Executive Director in the defunct Metropolitan Merchant Bank. Kunle Aluko has served on board of many other companies. He has served as a member of the council of the University of Port Harcourt from 1993-1995. He was also a member of the Board of Skye Bank Plc from 2011 to 2016.
Mr Aluko is a Director and the Managing Consultant of Single Tower Limited (UK), a private consultancy firm which provides business advisory services on investment banking, finance and allied matters to corporate and high net-worth individual.
