Japaul Oil led 19 other gainers as NSEASI dips marginally by 0.03%, Tuesday

Trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Tuesday being the first trading day after Easter celebration closed in red. The All Share Index declined by 0.03% to close at 30,076.00 points from the previous close of 30,086.31 points last week Thursday.

The market capitalisation closed at N11.303 trillion against the previous close of N11.301 trillion, thereby gaining N2 billion.

Aggregate volume and value of traded stocks closed at 316.12 million units and N3.65 billion in 3,888 deals.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 20 stocks gained while 17 stocks lost.

Percentage Gainers

Japaul Oil with 10% growth led other gainers to close at N0.22 from the previous close of N.20.

Dangote Flour, First Aluminium and Vita Foam among others on the gainers’ list grew their share prices by 9.81%, 9.76% and 9.71%  respectively.

Percentage Losers

Guinness, Forte Oil and Unilever among other price decliners shed 10%, 9.83% and 8.82% of their share prices respectively.

Volume Drivers

  • Unilever traded about 41million units of its shares in 92 deals, valued at N1.277 billion.
  • Japaul Oil traded about 69 million units of its shares in 118 deals, valued at N14.13 million.
