Consolidated Hallmark Insurance led other 9 Stocks in an all Red Market, Monday

Activities resume on the floor of Nigerian stock market in a continued downward trend as the NSEASI declined by 0.75%, bringing the bourse to eighth straight decline sessions.

Market capitalisation declined by 0.75% to settle at 14.137 trillion as against N14.244 trillion of the previous trading session shedding about N107 billion.

Volume and value traded also dropped by 24.89% and 44.30% respectively, settling at 222.315 million units and N1.642 billion in 4,461 deals.

Market Breadth
The market breadth closed weak as 10 stocks closed positive while 35 stocks closed negative.

Percentage Gainers


Consolidated Hallmark Insurance tops percentage price gainer’s chart closing 6.67% above the previous close of N0.30, to settle at N0.32.
Eterna Oil and Ikeja Hotel grew 4.93% and 4.65% respectively.
Dangote Cement and Dangote Flour also made it to the gainers’ chart, gaining 0.41% and 0.30% respectively.

Percentage Losers

FCMB tops the losers’ chart losing 9.09% of its share price, while  Japaul Oil and Wapic shed 8.33% and 7.69% respectively.

Volume Drivers


AIICO has the highest number of traded volume of about 40 million units.
FBNH is the most actively traded stock of the day, trading about 26million units of its shares in 480 deals, worth about N245million.
