Consolidated Hallmark Insurance led 17 other gainers as market closes 0.10% lower

Trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Friday closed in red as the All Share Index drops further by 0.10% to close at 29,270.95 points against the previous close of 29,300.09 points on Thursday.

Market capitalisation closed at N12.902 trillion, shedding N13 billion from the previous close of N12.915 trillion on Thursday.

Aggregate volume of traded stocks for the day was 298.4 million units, valued at N1.83 billion in 3,377 deals.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 18 stocks gained while 16 stocks lost.

Percentage Gainers

Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc with 10% growth led other gainers to close at N0.33 from the previous close of N0.30.

Conoil, Courtville and Morrison Industries among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.93%, 9.52% and 9.26 % respectively.

Percentage Losers

Learn Africa led other price decliners, shedding 9.59% of its share price to close at N1.32 from the previous close of N1.46.

Wapic Insurance, Livestock Feeds and NEM Insurance among other price decliners also shed 6.98%, 5.88% and 5.70% of their share prices respectively.

Volume Drivers

Zenith Bank traded about 23.1 million units of its shares in 308 deals, valued at N448.3 million.
